Integratis™ Somatic Counselling

Integratis™ Somatic Counselling” refers to a therapeutic approach that integrates the mind and body, emphasizing that psychological experiences are deeply connected to bodily sensations, posture, breath, and movement.

The word somatic comes from the Greek soma, meaning “body.”

What it is

创伤是现在对过去事件的一种感觉

At its core, somatic counselling is grounded in the knowledge that:

  • The body holds our experiences—trauma, emotions, and memory alike.
  • Healing unfolds not only through words but also by bringing awareness to the body and engaging in physical expression.
  • The body, as something tangible and present, provides a foundation for emotional transformation.

Rather than focusing on explaining the past, this work is rooted in realization and the discovery of practical tools for embodied support.

This approach draws from:

  • Neuropsychology and body-oriented psychotherapy
  • Somatic trauma research (e.g., Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges)
  • Practices such as Feldenkrais Method®, Alexander Technique, and breathwork
  • Eastern disciplines such as mindfulness, somatic awareness.

What happens in a session?

Each session becomes an exploration—a sensing into what is here now, what longs to unfold, and how healing can take root in the whole self. Sessions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Talking about emotional experience in connection with body awareness
  • Noticing physical sensations, tensions, or impulses
  • Guided breathwork and mindful movement

  • Postural awareness and regulation

  • Touch (when appropriate, ethical, and with consent)

  • Preparing for future challenges by connecting with embodied inner resources

Who Is It For?

This work may be especially supportive for:

  • Individuals experiencing physical or emotional discomfort

  • People navigating trauma, anxiety, or dissociation

  • Those who feel “stuck” in talk therapy

  • Anyone seeking a more embodied, integrative path to healing and growth

In short

“Result- and effectiveness-oriented, my sessions offer a safe and supportive space for exploring emotional difficulties through bodily awareness, movement, breath, and grounded somatic dialogue.”

Integratis™ Somatic Counselling is a holistic approach that recognizes the self not merely as a thinking mind but as a sensing, feeling, responsive being. It invites each person to listen to the wisdom of the body—as a pathway to insight, regulation, and transformation.

Our stories are not only told in words; they are also written in breath, posture, gesture, and the quiet tensions we carry. In these sessions, the body is not separate from the mind, but an intimate partner in healing—offering signals, insights, and doorways into presence. There is not “mind and body” or “body and mind,” but one integrated human being, capable of meeting life’s challenges with resilience and awareness.

Background and origin

This work is nourished by years of experience as a certified Feldenkrais Method® practitioner, where movement becomes a language of awareness, and as an Integratis® Massage practitioner, where touch becomes a gentle invitation to soften, feel, and reconnect.

These embodied lineages naturally weave into the somatic counselling process—creating a space where thoughts may settle, and the body is invited to speak.

Notice: This service is not a form of medical or psychological treatment. It does not offer diagnosis or clinical therapy. It is a supportive process based on body awareness and emotional integration, aiming to foster well-being through body–mind integration.
