Alleviating Pain and Overcoming Injury

Pain is a result of complex activity in the nervous system, especially in the brain.

In a nutshell, when receptors in the pain system are repeatedly activated, they become more sensitive, triggering pain more easily and causing pain to spread to more places in the body.

traditional approach

In traditional medical model of health an expert practitioner (doctor) evaluates your condition, then produces a diagnosis and a treatment plan. We are not denying the strong efficiency of this approach, but it’s now well known that in many cases this model is limited and cannot answer all the questions.

In many cases, after different treatments, medications, actions to help your healing (you bought new shoes, a new bed, a new chair…) you are still in pain.

When recovering from injury, people often produce the sensation of pain as a pattern of protection and as means of protecting healing tissues and bones from further injury. Often, pain persists long after tissues have healed.

our approach

Esalen Massage

With the Feldenkrais Method® and Esalen®Massage we encourage you to have a look at your health from an other angle.
First and foremost, you are seen as a whole person, rather than as a group of symptoms to be diagnosed and treated. In this approach, you are not being “treated”.

Pascal believes, and demonstrates in his classes and sessions, that your inner potential can be awakened to help you to overcome injury and cope with pain.

With our programs you will learn that your body has no further reason to protect your healed injury with pain.
