It’s also about moving differently, bringing novelty, curiosity and unexpected possibilities into the way we move, and discovering lightness instead of struggling against gravity.

This is where the neurosomatic loop comes into play. A new movement experience changes the way we sense ourselves, and that new sensation invites us to move and feel differently again.

A small change in movement can create a new sensation.
A new sensation can open a new possibility.
And a new possibility can change how we feel, physically and emotionally.

Over the years, some movements may have become stiff, effortful or less familiar. Balance may feel less reliable. Sleep may not come as easily. And the body can sometimes feel more like something to manage than something to enjoy.

This workshop is an invitation to change that relationship and rediscover how much more there may be to your body than you thought.

It’s Never Too Late!

Not to become younger, but to feel better in the body you have today.

Through playful somatic exploration and gentle movement, we will discover how to:

Recover fluency in movement

Improve balance and coordination

Make your body feel more comfortable

Rediscover playfulness and curiosity

Let go of unnecessary effort

Find more lightness and ease in everyday movement

Support deeper, more restful sleep

Why Awareness Through Movement® Is Perfect for This Context

Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons are gentle, adaptable and done at your own pace. There is no competition, no performance and no need to push yourself.

Through small and varied movements, your nervous system can discover more choices, better coordination and greater ease.

You don’t need to be flexible, strong or experienced. You simply need to be curious.

“I believe that understanding your personal neurosomatics is important, but it becomes truly empowering when combined with learning your own biomechanics.
